Finally!

I finally finished a 16 year project and got my book up on Amazon.com. It has been a journey for sure, and I am so relieved to have it completed. There has been much resistance and storms along the way, but I was not going to give up.

My parents read the proof over the weekend and then I took that first copy over to Spencer. He looked at the cover and then fell asleep. Maybe when we start reading it next week he will show a bit more interest.

I have my first speaking engagement on Saturday at our new small town library. I will be among 6 other  local authors, speaking about Voiceless and selling books. I will also be speaking at the Igniting Souls Conference in Columbus, OH in October. The program that I worked along with Kary Oberbrunner, Author Academy Elite, gives new authors an opportunity to try out their wings. I am among the 25 authors who have finished their book this year and we will all be giving a 3 minute presentation.  I’m excited!
